Ontario Archaeology is a peer-reviewed journal of The Ontario Archaeological Society. Articles accepted into the journal detail the various aspects of archaeology in Ontario, ranging from the discovery of new sites, heritage preservation concerns, interpretation of archaeological data, analyses in zooarchaeology, paleontology, and osteology, and much more. The editors for 2021-2023 are Dr. Bonnie Glencross and Dr. Suzanne Needs-Howarth. Submissions should be sent to editor@ontarioarchaeology.org. Ontario Archaeology is distributed once annually to registered members for $12 ($9 for students).
The journal's style guide and instructions for authors are being updated. Ontario Archaeology now largely follows American Antiquity style, with the exception of spelling, which follows Canadian Oxford Dictionary. The American Antiquity style guide can be downloaded here.To view the available back issues or special volumes of OA, click here.
