London Chapter Picnic at Longwoods

Please join us Sunday, July 15, 2018 for our annual London Chapter picnic starting at ca. 11 AM with Artifact Identification for the general public at 1pm by Christopher Ellis and other chapter members at Ska Nah Doht (in the Longwoods Conservation Area just west of Delaware, Ontario; see

Bring your appetite and your artifacts. If you do not have any points yet, join our flint knapping boys to make one! Chapter members get free admission (do not pay on entry to Longwoods). Try your hand at flint-knapping, challenge your friends and family at some traditional Native games and test your skills as a hunter with atlatl/spear-thrower target throwing. The festivities will start around 11AM and the usual hot dogs, watermelon, etc. will be provided -- and there is a barbecue if you prefer to cook your own -- but feel free to bring extra snacks/beverages.
