Speaker: Charles Dagneau, Parks Canada Underwater Archaeology Team Topic: Archaeology of the Franklin Expedition: The Wrecks of HMS Erebus and HMS Terror
The recent discoveries of HMS Erebus and HMS Terror promise long-awaited answers to the lingering mysteries of the 1845 Franklin Arctic Expedition. This presentation will provide an outline of Parks Canada’s archaeological study of these two amazingly well-preserved sites.
